The fActive Kids Get Cooking are focused around the successful completion of a food brief by pupils aged 9 to 16 years. In essence, the Active Kids Get Cooking encourage good work in food studies, including design, planning, preparation, making skills, presentation and evaluation by pupils of all abilities. The emphasis is to recognise and reward the excellent work already going on in schools.

For each successful task finished, children will receive a certificate indicating that they have completed an award brief (Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum).
